Pricing Surcharge FAQs

We want to provide some additional clarity around the temporary 4% surcharge now being applied to invoices from 1st June 2026.

Why has the surcharge been introduced?

Ongoing increases in manufacturing, energy, fuel, and logistics costs continue to impact the wider supply chain.

We have worked hard to absorb as much of these increases as possible; however, a temporary 4% surcharge is now necessary to help manage these continued pressures.

How is the surcharge applied?

A temporary 4% surcharge will be administered as a temporary price increase reflected within our RRP and customer pricing structure.

This allows us to respond to ongoing cost pressures in a consistent and transparent way while avoiding wider permanent price increases wherever possible.

Is the surcharge permanent?

No, the surcharge is intended to be temporary.

It will be kept under regular review and revised or removed as conditions improve.

When will the surcharge be removed?

This depends on how supplier, energy, fuel, and logistics costs develop over time.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will revise or remove the surcharge as soon as conditions allow.

Have you absorbed any of the cost increases?

Yes, we have absorbed a significant portion of these increases internally.

Our aim has been to minimise the impact on our customers wherever possible.

Why not delay the changes?

We have delayed implementing this surcharge for as long as possible and have worked hard to absorb increased costs internally.

Introducing a controlled temporary surcharge allows us to continue delivering consistency across supply, service, and product availability.

Who can I contact for more information?

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please contact your account manager or our team at info@tissino.co.uk

We remain committed to supporting our customers and will continue to provide updates as conditions change.

Dear Customer,

Further to our recent communication regarding ongoing supply chain and delivery cost pressures, we are writing to provide advance notice of a temporary surcharge across the Tissino product portfolio.

Over recent months, we have continued to experience sustained increases across manufacturing, freight, energy, and wider supply chain costs. We have absorbed these increases wherever possible in order to minimise disruption and maintain pricing stability for our customers.

However, despite continuing to absorb a significant proportion of the impact internally, the cumulative effect now means that a temporary surcharge has become necessary.

Due to the continued level of cost pressure, a temporary 4% surcharge will be applied to all orders placed from 1st June 2026. Any orders placed prior to this will not be affected.

This will appear as a separate line on invoices, with the 4% calculated based on total order value.

This surcharge is intended as a short term measure to help offset ongoing external cost increases while allowing us to maintain consistent stock availability, service levels, and product quality across the business.

We will review this regularly, with the intention of removing it as conditions improve.

We remain focused on maintaining consistent supply, service levels, and long-term value for our customers, and will continue to absorb cost increases wherever it is responsible to do so.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding. If you have any questions, please speak to your account manager, or contact us on info@tissino.co.uk.

Kind regards,

Edward Lewis
